Ada Vicuña was born and raised in Lima, Perú, and then moved to Tempe, Arizona where she obtained over 14 years of experience as a bilingual civil litigation paralegal. Ada graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. She received a Juris Doctor from the Charlotte School of Law graduating with Distinction.
After admission to practice law in North Carolina, Ada practiced civil litigation and criminal defense for a small law firm in Charlotte. Ada has worked on personal injury, insurance contract disputes, and wrongful death actions. She has also served the Legal Aid of North Carolina’s Expunction Project. Ada’s practice concentrations with Chaplin & Gonet are subrogation and collections.
